I'm new to this forum and not crazy familiar with IT, so although I read a few threads, apologies if this question has been asked already in a different way.
I have only 4 PCs connected to 1 HP ProLiant DL360 G7server (355 Gb used of 600, not virtual). Now I backup weekly during working hours by copying manually the server's C drive onto a 3TbUSB HD.However, often warnings requiring an action from my side pop up and stop the copyuntil I respond, and some files or entire folders don't get copied anyway. All this is long and incomplete, hence the search for a more solid solution. Unfortunately my budget is limited.
I think I can:
1. Buy a software that manages backups (Symantec Backup Execor similar) and other4 USB HDs (to have5 in total,rotating 1 weekly copyplus 1 overall monthly copy). Connect the 5 HDs at home and set the softwareto...
