VEEAM and SYNOLOGY

So I created a iscsi lun on my Synology which is the full size of my RAD1+0 array. This NAS is being used to store backups. How do I go about setting Veeam up to use it via iScsi? I have activated it within Server 2012 and I see it in disk management and have set it to online. (I have not initialized nor formatted since I read that it is not recommended). When I try to add a repository I do not see this storage location.
