I have been messing around with windows back up on a server now for a few days when I get time but still have had no luck.
Currently it is scheduled to backup to a shared drive which is a Dell ??????, this was set up by the previous administrator. But when the scheduled time come around nothing happens, it simply changes the updated details to be scheduled the next day and so on, so it never actually does the backup.
But If I select to manually perform a once-off backup using the same scheduled backup settings it works fine.
Any ideas why this would happen or how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.
