We're looking to get some agreement on RPO and RTO for various systems should "something bad" happen.
I've had some feedback which has got me scratching my head a little, which is that one of our groups has suggested an ideal RPO of 1 hour for Exchange and our file services, but has said they'd be happy with a RTO of "several days".
Now admittedly I haven't spoken to them, but I'm trying to think through why you might be able to only afford to lose an hour of email, but could afford to wait a couple of days to get at it?
