Good day experts,
I have been asked to help out on a project in which a file share is being migrated from a windows 2008 Share, to a CIFS shared folder on a VNXe3100 SAN. The backup is housed on the same SAN and has been backed up without issue. What I am trying to do is restore the backup to the CIFS using file redirection. I continue to get connection failures and am unable to restore using redirection. I was able to restore without issue onto the Media server itself. NDMP is disabled on the SAN as I have read in the Symantec forums. Still no dice.
Error:
The job failed with the following error: Unable to attach to a resource. Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online, and then try again. If the server or resource no longer exists, remove it from the selection list. Edit the selection list properties, click the View Selection Details tab, and then remove the resource
Any ideas?
