I have a Seagate GoFlex Home Personal. I am looking to, someday, get a ReadyNAS or something comparable but at the moment that is out of my personal budget.
Anyways, I have concerns about the 2TB drive I have. It seems to be okay but there are other times it shows slight signs it may be failing. I'm not in an immediate rush, and as much as I want a business level product with a RAID 1 or something similar, again, this is for home use.
So my question:
I need a way to back this up. It's 2TB with about 1.4TB used. Good amount of data. I want something that is similar to Backblaze, Carbonite, etc to back it up, so, in the event it DOES die, I don't lose EVERYTHING. The other thing: it has to be on a consumer level budget.
Is there any such product? If it could run on my Windows server (which is linked to the NAS via gigabit ethernet, that would be ideal. It's a Server 2008 R2 Datacenter x64 version of Windows.
Thanks,
A.J.
