I'm trying to add an external storage mapping, pointing to my NAS.

Unitrends Release 7.2.0-4.2013110517

Settings > Manage Storage > Add Backup Storage > 'Create a separate storage area for an alternate backup device'

The hostname of the NAS is 'nas01'.

Storage name: 'nas01'

Type: NAS

User name and password: tried admin acct from nas, as well as my AD that authenticates me to the share

host: tried both 'nas01' and IP address

port: 2049

protocol: nfs

share name: backups (i.e. shared folder on NAS)

The result is:

Summary: Error communicating with system.

Cause: Call was unsuccessful.

Detail: [System] CMC_NAS:ERROR: Failed to mount directory on /backups/oak-prd-qnap01.

How is this error bypassed?

Thanks for all guidance.
