I have a client running Hyper-V (Server 2012) with 3 VMs on local RAID 10 storage.
1st VM) DHCP + DNS + AD + File Server (Windows Server 2012)
2nd VM) Sage Contractor Software (Windows Server 2012)
3rd VM) 3CX IP PBX (Windows Server 2008 R2)
They currently perform manual backups to a network share on a backup server sitting locally on the network. However, they are interested in also backing up those VMs to the cloud. Has anyone tried a backup software that handles Hyper-V backups well and has the ability to connect to a cloud provider? I've done some research (Altaro, Veeam, Hyperoo) etc, but I was hoping I could avoid doing the trial version installs and just run with a Spicehead suggestion of a solution that works well. I'm also not opposed to running two separate solutions (one for local backups and one for cloud backups), but I'd rather kill two birds with one stone and run a solution that can do both. Any ideas?
