I'm researching backup and disaster recovery solutions.
We currently have 10 physical servers and are using Zenith BDR (2-BDR2100RSG2) solution for our backup and disaster recovery solution which is hosted at a co-location. Currently the virtualiztion of a backup takes about an hour and if all of the physical servers are virtualized on the backup servers, the virtualization is about 2 hours with the virtualized serves being painfully slow. I know this is partially due to the backup servers being old and underpowered.
I'm researching options for a backup and disaster recovery solution that can sit at a co-location, will have as close to near real time virtualization from a backup, and can handle at least a 10 server load (Exchange, SQL, file server, etc).
What other options are out there and what is your experiences with them?
