Backup everything for a year

Good Morning everyone!

About 6 Months back i was given a small budget to setup a backup server. I was able to setup and am currently backing up my most important servers using Unitrends. I do like the product and it has been pretty good so far. Because of the small budget, i was able to piece together a server that has about 4gb of storage and i periodically do offloads to external drives that i have.

My company has requested that i look into a system that will backup every single piece of data that we have on the network and store it for a year. This includes all workstations and servers.

I currently have 4 different locations that host roughly 10 servers, 35 VM's, and about 70-80 laptops/desktops. My current setup will not meet the request to backup everything and store it for a year.

I have looked at Crashplan...which seems like a very good idea. It is 9.99 per month, per client, and unlimited storage. What are you experiences with crashplan? Is it possible to store data for a year with this service?

I also have experience with more traditional backups using tapes etc etc...I believe the only way to accomplish a system like this is cloud based backups...because of the laptops. Are there any other ways to tackle this?

Thank You all for your help ahead of time! i always get good pointers from people here! =)
