Hello,
Our current backup scenario is simply ShadowProtect snapshotting to a couple of NAS's and Imagemanager replicating these to USB HDD's.
With our previous provider (who used acronis), in addition to using Acronis they also used Robocopy to do a straight mirror of our file shares and SQL backups to the NAS daily. This way if we had a disaster and the acronis images fell over or got corrupted we could fall back on the old fashioned file copy. Our new provider hasnt set it up this way.
Is this a good idea, should I still be doing a file mirror using robocopy or some free backup software?
What does everyone else do...
